Cactus Star Vineyard crafts its wine from grapes grown on the vineyard premises and from grapes obtained from other vineyards within the RVA appellation. On-premise grape varieties are: Tempranillo, Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot and Malbec.

The wife finally got her first horse, Ringo, a beautiful black and white paint. When he first came he was scared of everything, making her scared of him! After months of searching and not finding the 'perfect saddle' to match, a black western with white stitching, I realized she was just too scared to ride him. With a scaredy girl and a scaredy horse, Scaredy Cat Ranch was born.
